Terry McBrayer

W. Terry McBrayer ( born September 1, 1937 in Ironton, Ohio) is an American lawyer and politician (Democratic Party).

Life

McBrayer grew up with two sisters in Greenup, Kentucky. He attended Greenup High School and studied at the Morehead State University, where in 1959 a Bachelor of Science (BS ) received, and at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where he in 1962 with a Bachelor of Laws ( LL obtained. example ). In the same year his was admitted to the Bar of Kentucky. McBrayer was now working as a lawyer in Greenup County from 1963 to 1975. Today McBrayer is a senior partner in the law firm of McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie & Kirkland.

Politically, McBrayer operated in the Democratic Party, for which he belonged to the House of Representatives from Kentucky from 1966 to 1972. During his time as an MP, he served as Speaker Pro Tempore, among others, as well as Majority Floor Leader of his party. In addition, he was chairman of the Democratic Party in Kentucky. In 2008 he attended the Democratic National Convention as a super delegate.

McBrayer is married to his second wife and has two children from his first marriage, a son and a daughter.
