Terumah (parsha)

Teruma (Hebrew תרומה, " heave-offering " ) refers to a reading portion ( Parasha or Sidra called ) comprises the Torah and the text Ex / Shemot 25.1 to 27.19.

It is the Sidra of the 1st or 2nd Shabbat of the month Adar Adar or rishon.

Gist

  • Solicitation of gold, silver, copper, wool, oil, precious stones, etc. for the construction of the tabernacle and for making the clothes of the priest
