Tété-Michel Kpomassie

Tété -Michel Kpomassie (* 1941 in Atoëta at Aného ) is a Togolese writer.

Kpomassie had been predetermined in his home for snake cult priests and fled to Europe. Fascinated by the lives of the Inuit, he undertook in 1965 of his savings it created a 16- month trip to Greenland.

In his book " An African in Greenland ," he tells of his journey from Togo to Greenland, which took ten years, and how he lives there together with the native Inuit and goes hunting.

In 1981 Kpomassie the Prix Litteraire Francophone International.
