The Teteriw (Ukrainian Тетерів, Russian Тетерев ( Teterev ) ) is a river in Ukraine. He is a right tributary of the Dnieper in the Dneprtiefebene and Polesia. It has a length of 365 km and a catchment area of 15,100 km ². In the upper reaches, it flows to the city Radomyshl by the Ukrainian crystalline massif in a narrow valley with high banks. In the lower reaches, the valley of the Teteriw expands in Polesia up to 4 km, the width of the river is 40 to 90 m, before it flows into the dammed reservoir to Kiev Dnieper. The Teteriw is fed primarily by snow and rain. In general, it is frozen from December to March.
The main tributaries are Hnylopjat, Hujwa, Sdwysch (right) and Irsha (left). The largest towns on the river include Zhytomyr, Korostyschiw and Radomyshl.
