Tetsugen Bernard Glassman

Bernard Glassman ( born January 18, 1939 in New York) is an American Zen master and nonfiction author. He came from a Jewish family, and distinguished himself as an initiator and manager of various social projects, including the Zen Peacemakers, a group of socially engaged Buddhists. Among his pupils was, inter alia, Claude Thomas.
