TetsurÅ Tamba
Tetsuro Tamba (Japanese丹波 哲 郎, Tamba Tetsuro; actually Danbo Seizaburo, Japanese丹波 正 三郎; born July 17, 1922 in Tokyo, † September 24, 2006 ) was a Japanese actor.
Tamba began in 1952 with a small role as a film actor and worked until his death in nearly 200 productions. At the beginning of the 1970s he had his career highlight when he helped in some of the most important and successful films of the period. His internationally best-known role, however, the Tiger Tanaka in the James Bond film You Only Live Twice was. He also proved himself as a writer and producer of documentary films.
