Teutleben is a district of the rural community Hörsel in the northwest of the Thuringian Landkreis Gotha.

Location

The total area of the district is 782 hectares Teutleben. It is located west of the city of Gotha and is located in the Thuringian Basin. History

The first written mention was Teutleben in a document from the 9th century. Policy

Former Mayor

In the mayoral election in the district of Gotha 6 June 2010 Rainer Rudloff ( Friends of the Fire Brigade) was elected honorary mayor of the community. His term began on 1 July 2010. With the conversion to the rural community he was from December 1, 2011 for the district mayor ( with a term of office until 2016).

Structures

The St Michael's Church a special attraction of the place. It belongs to the Church of St. Kilian in Lauchagrund and the Marienkirche in Mechterstädt Parish Mechterstädt.
