Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi

The Texas A & M University - Corpus Christi ( also Texas A & M -CC or TAMU -CC called ) is a state university in Corpus Christi in Texas. It is part of the Texas A & M University System. The college was founded in 1947. Currently here are enrolled 8,355 students. The campus is located on an island which is part of the university. In addition to the TAMU -CC, there is only one other university in the U.S. ( Texas A & M - Galveston ), which has an island.

Research

The Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico studies the environmental conditions of the Gulf of Mexico will be analyzed in collaboration with the University of Havana.

The Conrad Blucher Institute for Surveying and Science is a geodetic institute that has developed among other things, a monitoring system for the tides.
