Texas Legends

The Texas Legends are a basketball team of the NBA Development League, which is based in Frisco (Texas ). They are the farm team of the Dallas Mavericks. Trainer was until 2011 Nancy Lieberman, the first head coach in a men's professional league in basketball. For the season 2011/2012 it was replaced by Del Harris.

The Texas Legends emerged from the Colorado 14ers and took first in the 2010/11 season in the game operation of the Development League. As 6 of the Western Conference and a total of 8 of the regular season in the developmental league, they reached in their first season, the playoffs, where they were eliminated in the first round against the Tulsa 66ers.

For the season 2012/2013 of the former players of the Dallas Mavericks Eduardo Najera became the new head coach of the Legends.

The home games discharged from the Legends in the Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas. At home games, the arena holds 4,500 spectators. The ice hockey team of the Texas Tornado is also based in the arena.
