TeX#Community

The group was founded in 1980. It maintains the American CTAN node publishes the periodical TUGboat that, LaTeX, etc. reports on news related to TeX and turns primarily to developers. The online magazine The Journal is aimed at PracTeX TeX users.

Once a year, an international conference will be organized alternately in the U.S. and in another country. The proceedings of the conferences appear in TUGboat or as separate publications.

Together with other user groups, the TeX distribution TeX Live is annually drawn up and published.
