Thabana Ntlenyana

The Thabana Ntlenyana ( Sesotho; German: " Beautiful little mountain", also Thabantshonyana, " Black little mountain ") is the highest peak in the Drakensberg mountains in southern Africa.
It is located in the east of the Kingdom of Lesotho and has a height of 3,482 meters above sea level. It is made of basalt and is surrounded by similar high mountains; the peak is not very pronounced.
The Thabana Ntlenyana is the highest mountain in Africa south of Mount Meru, the south of Kilimanjaro is only slightly.
