Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality
The district Thabo Mofutsanyane is part of the Free State Province in South Africa. Covering an area of 28,347 km ² live 736 238 inhabitants (as of 2011). The capital is Witsieshoek.
The district is named after Thabo Mofutsanyane, a supporter of the anti - apartheid struggle. He was the first black "comrade" after the opening of the SACP ( South African Communist Party) for black Africans in 1952.
