Thai (cat)

The Thai cat and the Siamese have the same origin and are derived from the former Siam - now Thailand. In the 1970s, the trend to grow ever slimmer, more delicate and more graceful Siamese cats began. Some growers were holding the traditional type, eventually the recognition of the same as a race under the name " Thai Cat" led, which is also known as " Old- Style Siamese " in the English language. Nature

Care

Colors of the Thai

Basically, there are in Thai and Siamese cats four standard colors, plus white ( Foreign White ), red and cream as well as their combinations.

Primary colors are seal point, chocolate point, lilac-point and blue-point. There are also: red-point, cream point, seal- tortie -point beige, blue- tortie -point, chocolate- tortie -point, lilac- tortie -point and Foreign White ( monochrome white).

The badge must be evenly colored.

The color varieties mentioned above are also available as Tabby, which means that the points are not in full color, but have a line drawing. With badge is meant that mask, ears, legs, feet and tail a different, darker color than the rest of the body. The mask covers the nose, whisker pads, eye rims and front and is connected by lines with the ears. With the base color the rest of the body surface is covered.
