Thales - Raytheon Systems Company LLC ( ThalesRaytheonSystems or TRS ) is an aerospace and military technology company with co- headquarters in Massy, France, and Fullerton, United States, and a 50:50 joint venture between Raytheon and Thales Group. ThalesRaytheon was founded in June 2001 to bring together the expertise of both companies in the areas of radar and C ⁴ ISR.

History

Thales S. A. and Raytheon Company announced the creation of Thales Raytheon Systems on December 16, 2000.

At the time of founding Thales Raytheon Systems had a global market share of about 40 percent in the Luftverteidigungsleitstände, air defense radar and battlefield surveillance systems.
