The Ford Thames Trader was the Ford of Britain in Dagenham plant produced for the European market (except Germany ) a truck. The trader was also exported to South Africa, Indonesia and Australia. Thames Trader FC series

In March 1957, Ford presents the new England Thames Trader FC series ( FC for Forward Control ) as a successor to the Fordson Thames E83W Fordson ET and before. MK II and Trader NC

The NC models had the cab of the German Ford FK series whose production was stopped in 1961. In 1965, the production in England was set, while the model in Turkey and Egypt continued to be produced for the non-European market. Its successor was the Ford D series, the relaunched under the name Ford N- Series in 1973, twelve years after the cessation of production of the Ford FK series, the truck division at Ford Germany.
