Thaw (weather)

The term refers to thaw in meteorology, a weather, in the snow and ice (and possibly Glacier) begin to thaw. Compared with cold, but beautifully felt snow thaw periods is often seen as a damp miserable weather. It is generally associated with cold and wet in rain passing over the snow.
