ADT Security Germany GmbH is a subsidiary of Tyco International Ltd.. - Business Fire & Security, headquartered in Ratingen. The product range of leading brand Sensormatic include access control, RFID, CCTV, electronic article surveillance and source tagging systems.

Another branch of the ADT ADT is Germany GmbH with four branches in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg. Other locations include Karlsruhe, Bremen, Hannover and Erlangen. From there, among other things, burglar and fire alarms, video surveillance and access control systems for commercial and residential properties in Germany are built, expanded and maintained.

The ADT Service-Center GmbH forms the third area associated with a VdS -certified emergency and service control center. Around 100 employees serve approximately 50,000 customers from there and edit inserts according to customer specifications. The services include the monitoring of alarms from motion or glass break detectors, by closing contacts or fire protection systems and elevator emergency calls.

ADT is represented in 38 countries, including Italy, China, the USA and Norway world. Working together with the parent company Tyco International approximately 250,000 people for the company.

History

American District Telegraph was founded in 1874 in Baltimore (USA ) and letter service. The first fire alarm system was developed in 1915. The development and marketing of burglary, robbery and fire alarm systems began in 1938. In 1997, ADT was acquired by Tyco International and is the Fire & Security business unit. Since 2003, based out of home safety devices are also being developed on GPS.
