The Amityville Horror (1979 film)

The Amityville Horror is an American horror film of 1979 and the first film in the Amityville horror series. The screenplay is based on the novel by Jay Anson bestseller. A remake was produced in 2005.

The story is based on real events, the truth of which is not well documented.

Action

The adolescent son Ronald DeFeo Jr. from the village of Amityville on Long Iceland, New York shoots one night his entire family insidious in their sleep, claiming when being interviewed by the police he had due to " ghost voices " who told him the carnage traded.

A year later the family Lutz bought the house and witnessed eerie hauntings that are so massive after four weeks that she leaves the house hastily.

Criticism

The lexicon of the International film ruled the film was " stylish and exciting staged occult Trivial cinema. " The " with confused metaphysical speculation " dress.
