The Aquabats
The Aquabats are an American music group from California that was founded in 1994. The band is also known for its very colorful appearances in superhero costumes.

History
The Aquabats were founded in 1994 in Southern California Huntington Beach. Early in her career, the band played a mixture of ska and surf rock. Over the years (especially after the second album ) but she withdrew more and more from ska. Especially the winds were replaced by synthesizers as the group began to experiment with electronic music more and more.
In 1996 the band released their debut album titled The Return of the Aquabats! . The album sold very well against our own expectations. In 1997 The Fury of the Aquabats! , Which is their most successful album remained until today. The musical style of the band evolved with their third album, The Aquabats vs.. The Floating Eye of Death ( 1999) continues in the direction of New Wave with rock'n'roll and ska elements, backed by synthesizer music.
In 2000, the album compilation Myths, Legends and Other Amazing Adventures Vol 2, which so far includes unreleased older songs, or songs that during the time of origin of The Aquabats vs. appeared. the Floating Eye of Death! and Other Amazing Adventures Vol 1 incurred, but it is not used. Band Mythology
The Aquabats occur in superhero costumes and have their own fictional biography, after which they are derived from the hidden paradise island Aquabania from which they but were driven by the evil super villain Space Monster "M". They fled in a hollowed-out tree trunk over the ocean and stranded in California, where they were found by the "Professor ". This they did with the help of chemicals to superheroes who disguise themselves in their spare time as a music group.
The band uses their appearances in order to defeat the Space Monster "M" with the help of their musical superpowers. But at the concerts they are regularly attacked by monsters.
