The Big O

The Big O (Jap. THEビッグオー, The Biggu Ō ) is an anime television series from 1999 by Hajime Yatate. The anime has been implemented by the Japanese artist Hitoshi Ariga well as manga.

Anime

The Big O ran from October 1999 to January 2000 in thirteen episodes on the Japanese TV station WOWOW. Produced the series from animation studio Sunrise Inc., directed by Kazuyoshi Katayama. The screenplay for The Big O was written by Chiaki J. Konaka.

2001 Cartoon Network radiated from the anime in the U.S. television and co-produced a second season. The also three ten-part series was aired from January to March 2003 Japanese television for the first time and ran a few months later on Cartoon Network in the United States:

Manga

Hitoshi Ariga began at the time of the airing of the first season, to draw a manga series based on the story by Hajime Yadate, which was published until 2001 in the manga magazine Magazine Z. From 2002 to 2003, the successor series The Big O followed - Lost Season for the second series. The Kodansha publishing house brought The Big O in six and The Big O - Lost Season in two anthologies out.

The first 14 chapters of the manga were published in Germany in the manga Power.

Action
