The Biggest Loser Germany

The Biggest Loser ( in German: The Biggest Loser, The fattest loser ) is a German television show. Obese candidates live together in a camp and compete for the greatest weight loss. The first season was aired on ProSieben, 2009. Presenter was Katarina Witt. Cable one showed the second and third season of the show under the title of The Biggest Loser - Slim down in a twin pack, moderated by Regina Halmich. Sat.1 shows the show since season four, chaired by Christine Theiss.

Concept

In "The Biggest Loser" candidates must try through sports programs and diet to lose weight as much as possible in a camp. First Season

The first season aired in January and February 2009 on ProSieben. Originally eleven episodes were planned, but it was decided, Thursdays at 20.15 clock broadcast only five two-hour episodes and show the final on a Saturday.
