The Black Dwarf (newspaper)

The Black Dwarf was a political newspaper that was published from May 1968 and 1972 from a socialist collective in the UK.

In 1970, the editorial board split. Leninist oriented employees, which the leaf was not radical enough, including the members of the International Marxist Group, parted by The Black Dwarf and founded the newspaper Red Mole.

Employees of the newspaper were, inter alia, Tariq Ali, Clive Goodwin, Robin Fior, David Mercer, Mo Teitlebaum, Douglas Gill, Adrian Mitchell, Sheila Rowbotham, Bob Rowthorn, Sean Thompson, Roger Tyrrell and Fred Halliday.

The Black Dwarf named after an eponymous satirical magazine, published from 1817 to 1824.
