The movie depicts the last days in the life of the young Indian, and ends with the entering of the factory floor, in which he will lose his life.

Reviews

Although the film was very successful run at the Film Festival of Cannes and highly praised by local critics, he received from U.S. critics consistently bad reviews; Johnny Depp was so upset that he refused to release the film in the U.S.. In Germany and in many other countries the film is published and available on DVD.
