Katedra (German Cathedral ) is a Polish computer-animated short film by Tomasz Bagiński from the year 2002.

Action

Production

Katedra was to Rain (1998) Baginski's second film and the first one he completed as an employee of the CGI company Platige Image. For Katedra he worked with science fiction author Jacek Dukaj who slashed his eponymous short story from the year 2000 for the film on a plotline.

Katedra was completed in April 2002 and was first performed on 16 October 2002, the film was well received and later in Polish cinema as a supporting film before Minority Report and Signs -. Shown signs.

Awards

Katedra 2003 was nominated for an Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ", but could not against the Chubbchubbs! prevail.
