The Changeling (1980 film)

The horror is a Canadian horror film made in 1980. Directed by Peter Medak.

Action

The film begins with the fact that the wife and daughter of the protagonist John Russell are killed in a car accident. Then pulls the composer from New York in the state of Washington in an old, secluded Victorian mansion. There Russel is soon haunted by the ghost of a murdered boy. He witnesses of uncanny occurrences, such as mysterious noises from the hotel's water tank or cruel visions. Russell begins investigation into the past of the house and its owners to make and eventually encounters a connection between the fate of the murdered boy and the past of an influential U.S. senator.

On 18 June 2002 an abridged version by five minutes of the film was titled The horror - published The Changeling (FSK 16) in world cinema Home Entertainment on DVD.
