The Context Group

The sociological interpretation of the Bible is therefore in the context of research directions as Feminist exegesis, liberation theology, gender studies and biblical criticism of society.

The members and participants of the Context Group meet annually at an international conference in the U.S., which takes place alternately in Portland / OR, and Philadelphia / PA.
