The Cube (game show)

The Cube is a game show from the UK, in which contestants can win money by solving supposedly easier tasks. The first edition aired April 29, 2011 Defeat the cube, which was moderated by Nazan Eckes - In Germany, under the name of The Cube. Another issue has already been produced and aired June 10, 2011 at 20.15 clock, kicking off the second episode an hour earlier. Whether further editions will follow, is still uncertain.

Show concept

In seven games, the candidate money (in the German edition of 250,000 euros, 250,000 pounds in England) win. He has to put speed and skill on the day especially. The individual games appear simple at first, then ask however, turned out to be very tricky. All matches will be played with an edge length of four meters in a cube.

Each player has nine "Life ". With each failed attempt in a game he loses one of these life. Once he loses the last life, is its most erspielter win away.

Two game facilities are available to candidates once each available: Each candidate may ask that a game is easier (for example, by spending more time in solving the tasks). In addition, each candidate can make a test run in a game once. He does not manage the game that has no consequences. Will he make it, however, he wins then nothing.

The game ends as soon as a candidate has no more life, decides after a game, quit or if he has hit the jackpot of 250,000 euros.

History

The original format called The Cube running successfully since August 2009 in the UK. Here the show will be hosted by Phillip Schofield. Because of this elaborate production RTL can produce the show in the original studios in London.
