Action
The focus of the series, the two lawyers Pete Kaczmarek and Nick Morelli. 'll Take you along the firm Morelli & Kaczmarek in Las Vegas. To her firm also includes Lisa Tyler, a former stripper, and Zoey Walters, the assistant to the attorneys. Due to the successful careers of Nick and Pete and many time they have to spend with their work both of these problems in their private lives, which are usually taken in a subordinate storyline.

Nick Morelli
Nick is Pete's partner and an honest lawyer who is beating in court hardly. The well-being of his clients is close to his heart, and he takes every case, regardless of the importance, very seriously. He is trying to bring his broken marriage with Jessica back on track and trying to spend more time in his life with his son.
Lisa Tyler
Lisa is a former stripper. They stripped to finance her law studies. After his graduation, she worked at the law firm of Pete and Nick.
Jessica
Jessica Nick's estranged wife, who lives apart from him and their son pulls great.
Zoey
Zoey is Nick and Pete's young secretary, who as both the heart and the mouth in the right place.
Production
After CBS had ordered a pilot episode on 9 February 2010, she was at the annual upfronts, sent the announcements of the new fall program in series.
On 21 October 2010 the show received a full season with 18 episodes.

The German synchronization was created by a synchronous book and the dialogue directed by Dirk Hartung by the synchronous Company EuroSync GmbH in Berlin.

For Germany, ProSiebenSat.1 Media Group has the rights to the series secured and originally decided to broadcast it on cable one. The synchronous Work has begun in January 2011. Finally, the series was on Sunday evening, erstausgestrahlt German speaking right after NCIS, The Mentalist and Hawaii Five-0 on Sat.1.
The series was broadcast on Sat.1 from 20 March 2011 the final episode ran on 31 July 2011. Overall, The Defenders achieved a market share of total audience of nine percent for an average of 1.3 million viewers and 0.73 million viewers and 10.8 percent in the target demographic of 18 - to 49 -year-olds. Although the values eased since the beginning of sat.1 charisma, they remained in total in the range of the transmitter section.
In Austria, the series aired from March 27 to August 14, 2011 at the ORF one.

In Poland, the series is broadcast since November 15, 2010, further it is to be aired in spring 2011 in the United Kingdom.

The series peaked at Metacritic a Metascore of 65/100 based on 19 reviews.
In the German- reviews The Defenders is described as entertaining series, albeit to a lesser extent. So going to rely heavily on the presence of the main characters, the supporting cast and the cases would be disregarded accordingly lacked some of their depth. Optical leave CBS to complain about typical little the series. Overall, The Defenders was unfortunately no second Boston Legal, but to look nice.
