The Deuce
The Deuce is the name of several double-decker bus lines in operation of RTC Transit, which run in Las Vegas. The start was on 27 October 2005.
The following sections are traversed (as of January 2009):
The buses currently in use can accommodate a total of 80 passengers, 27 of them on the bottom and 53 on the upper floor. They have a total length of about 13 meters. The fees for the most commonly driven route (Las Vegas Blvd ) currently amount to six dollars for a ride (regardless of length) and eight U.S. dollars for a 24 - hour ticket (January 2013).
The name The Deuce (English for two) alludes to the two floors of the bus. Double -decker buses in the United States - unlike Europe - extremely rare.
