Five is a television series from the year 1995/ 1996. The British- German co-production based on the Famous Five series by British author Enid Blyton.
Already 1977/1978 was an adaptation of the same title by Enid Blyton template.
Background
In this remake of the series with 26 episodes almost all the stories of five friends were implemented in contrast to earlier films. Not only were filmed in the lesser-known short stories, the first in 1995, ie in the period when the series was born when the band: all danger appeared to master five friends were known. Also not made into a film in 2000 discovered the script Blyton The Famous Five - Adventure.
The series takes place in the 1950s. In addition, the age of the children is the same as in the original novel, which Anne is significantly younger than in the first TV series. The dog, however Timmy is very small in contrast to the description in the books.
This series was published in Germany in 2004 and 2005 by UFA on DVD.
