The Fever is a film drama directed by Carlo Gabriel Nero, which was produced in 2004.

Action

The film shows the story of a nameless woman. She is shown at the beginning of the film in a hotel in a third world country. The actual plot is told in a flashback.

The woman lives in London and enjoys privileges. It does not deal with politics. The woman moves to an unnamed country in which there is terror. There she meets a revolution woman who tells her about her life.

Reviews

Elise Bui wrote in The Cavalier Daily on October 27, 2005, the film will illustrate the "horror " of the Third World. He look like a documentary. The end could be effective as well and felt just as disappointing. Bui praised the " efficient " Game of Angelina Jolie and the representation of Vanessa Redgrave.

The film was shot in Wales. He was shown at the San Sebastián Film Festival, on the Alba Regia International Film Festival, on the Rio International Film Festival and at the Virginia Film Festival. Director Carlo Gabriel Nero is the son of Franco Nero and Vanessa Redgrave.
