The Fireballs
Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireballs were successful in the 1960s American pop band. It was originally founded in 1959 under the name " The Fireballs ".
The quartet was Norman Petty, the manager of Buddy Holly, win as their manager. This also had his own recording studio and produced the first single " Torquay ", an instrumental piece, which reached number 39 on the U.S. charts.
Starting in 1963, then was renamed to Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireballs and with the single " Sugar Shack " reached No. 1 on the hit parade and we had a million-seller.
In the late 1960s the formation disappeared into oblivion.
