The Forester Sisters

The Forester Sisters are an American music group, which was formed in the mid-1980s.

Career

The four sisters Kathy, Christy, June and Kim Forester come from Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The musical start was made Kathy and June, with performances at Gottestdiensten and at parties. Soon, Kim joined, and finally completed the Christy Forester Sisters.

In 1983, the quartet on a demo tape, which succeeded a roundabout way into the hands of producer Jim Ed Norman on Warner Brothers. A few months later, a recording contract was signed. Already the first single (That's What You Do ) When You're In Love was able to place in the country Top Ten. The next single I Fell In Love Again Last Night even reached number one. From their debut album Forester Sisters more successful songs were released.

1986, a tour was conducted with the Bellamy Brothers and recorded some common title. The success of the Forester Sisters remained faithful to the 1990s,. Each single was also placed in the charts. The albums are selling well.

Although the sisters were now married and had children, they were still on tour. Their husbands played in part in the backing band or worked as a road manager. Several times were the Forester Sisters in Ministry of Defence before American troops overseas on.
