The Fourteen Infallibles
The Fourteen Infallibles (Persian چهارده معصوم, DMG CAHAR -dah ma ʿ SUM ) of the Twelver Shia ( Imami ) are a group of people whose members are in the faith of the Shiites as immune from error and sin. These include the Prophet Muhammad, his daughter Fatima, and the twelve Imams.
The 12th Imam, Muhammad al -Mahdi, according to Shiite idea lives in seclusion ( غيبة, ghayba ).
