The Fox and the Hound (novel)

Foxtrack: History of hostility (Original Title: The Fox and the Hound ) is a youth book of American author Daniel P. Mannix, the first was published by Harper Collins in 1967. The book tells the history of enmity between a fox and a dog called Cap named Capper. The translation of the novel from the hand of Margaret of Reischach - bushel appeared in 1968 with illustrations by John Schoenherr at Hoffmann and Campe and 1970 as a licensed edition in the German Book Association.

Adaptations

The submission by Daniel P. Mannix in 1981 as a cartoon ( German Title: Fox and the Hound ) filmed by Walt Disney Studios for the first time. Fox and the Hound were spoken in this version of Mickey Rooney and Kurt Russell. Production began in 1977, but was delayed due to artist from the Disney team changed. The film consists of approximately 360,000 drawings, 110,000 films and 1,100 background images. 2006 saw the continuation of Fox and the Hound 2, which was produced directly for the video and DVD market. This plays in the childhood of the two main characters.
