The Freecycle Network

Freecycle is an internet Verschenk network, which is operated by the nonprofit The Freecycle Network.

The Verschenk network " Freecycle " was an idea of the American Deron Beal, to reduce waste and counter the affluent society. Since 2003, Freecycle has grown rapidly and now reaches into 50 countries over two million members in approximately 2,000 local Freecycle groups ( April 2006). The approximately 70 groups in Germany were founded by Thomas Pradel since March 2004.
