The Greatest Story Ever Told is an album by the American punk rock band The Lawrence Arms. It was released on 23 September 2003 by the label Fat Wreck Chords.
It is the fourth album of the band and the second, which was released on Fat Wreck Chords.
It is a concept album with a leading through the songs of action with many references to previous songs. Taking just the album title reference is made to direct a film from 1965, The Greatest Story Ever Told, in which the life of Jesus is told.
