The Greens (Netherlands)

De Groenen ( German Green Party), is a political party in the Netherlands with a focus on ecology. The party was founded in 1983. In contrast to the party Groen Links De Groenen are strictly pacifist and advocate an unconditional basic income.

Since the local elections of 3 March 2010 De Groenen are represented more in any council.

At European level, the party is an integral part of the green mergers. De Groenen belongs to the Alliance, founded in 2004 EGP.
