Others

The group's name was first published by the Evening Standard in September 2000.

Joe Beevers is the only member who is originally from Hendon ( part of London ). However, the other members play in Hendon, so that the name came about. The Hendon Mob describes John Kabbaj as his unofficial fifth member.

The mob runs a very successful website, which includes a unique database. In the database, each professional poker tournament and the player is out with its results. Since 2000, the Hendon Mob takes over the information on the page Pokerpages.com, which thereby became superfluous.

The mob is sponsored by the online poker site Full Tilt Poker.
