The Hindu

The Hindu is the second largest English-language daily newspaper in India. It has a circulation of about one million copies sold in Chennai and is distributed throughout India. The pressure of the newspaper is distributed to the locations Bangalore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Madurai, Mangalore, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam.

The Hindu was founded in 1878 and initially appeared in an edition of 80 as a weekly newspaper.

Since 1995 there is an online edition of the newspaper.
