The Hoppers

The Hoppers are an American gospel band from North Carolina.

Biography

In the 1970s, the Hoppers began as a family with the music. Claude Hopper and his wife Connie were at the start, younger members have since the band repeatedly renewed like the sons Mike and Dean and his wife Kim Greene.

Your first major appearance had the Hoppers in 1981 at the inauguration ceremony of U.S. President Ronald Reagan. In the following two years, they were honored at the Southern Gospel Music Awards as the best mixed singing group.

In the 1990s, the band had numerous hits of Gospel Here I Am to Shoutin 'Time and until the 2000s they won in numerous other Gospel Awards. Also on the organized by gospel icon Bill Gaither Gaither Homecoming Tour, they were often represented.

Despite numerous album releases the Hoppers were previously only represented once on the Billboard 200: 2010 with a best-of album by Gaither Homecoming appearances.
