The Jaynetts

The Jaynetts were an R & B group whose members are from the Bronx in New York came from. The girl group had only one hit, Sally Go ' Round the Roses, who came to the U.S. singles charts in 1963 at # 2.

Emergence and success of single

Abner Spector, the owner of the Chicago record company Tuff, sought in New York, the trend of the time following, after a girl group and turned to Zelma " Zell" Sanders, the owner of J & S Records label. Development of the Group

After the release of the single was the fifth member of the group Johnnie Louise Richardson ( b. 1945 ), daughter of Sanders added. Richardson died on October 25, 1988 of heart failure.
