The Journal of Experimental Biology

The Journal of Experimental Biology is a scientific magazine, which deals with comparative and integrative biology. The Journal is published by The Company of Biologists, Cambridge, United Kingdom fortnightly. The magazine was first published in 1923 under the name The British Journal of Experimental Biology, Edinburgh. One of the co-editor of the journal, while its early days, was the famous English biologist Julian Huxley. In 1925 the magazine was awarded the title still today the Journal of Experimental Biology. The first chief editor of the magazine was the zoologist Sir James Gray ( zoologist ).
