The Film Review Board Wiesbaden gave a last kiss the predicate particularly valuable. The jury ruling stated:

" " The Last Kiss " is what you believed to be a romantic comedy would call in Germany. But the film comes from Italy, and comes here, it will in any case the cliché, with love always the passion, sentimentality and high pathos. All this and much more in the story, without ever succumbing to cliche plates, or at least not also illuminate the downside. "
