The Lennon Sisters

The Lennon Sisters were an American singing group from 1955 to 1968 had their greatest successes. The group consisted of four sisters: Dianne ( born December 1, 1939), Peggy ( born April 8, 1941), Kathy ( born August 2, 1943) and Janet ( born June 15, 1946) Lennon. All four were born in Los Angeles ( California).

Your first public appearance they had in the Christmas show in 1955 by Lawrence Welk. In 1956, she had the " Lawrence Welk Orchestra " their biggest hit: Tonight You Belong To Me, which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard charts. With the orchestra Billy Vaughn them succeeded in 1961 her second and final placement in the charts ( No. 56 ), entitled Sad Movies ( Make Me Cry ).

2001, the group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
