The clubs

The first Limelight was opened in the 1970s in Hollywood ( Florida). After a few years of operation, the building was destroyed by fire.

1980, the second Limelight was opened in Atlanta. It became the "hot spot", not least by parties of the magazine interview, where celebrities such as Andy Warhol, Grace Jones and Debbie Harry were spotted. He graduated in 1985.

In London, the club opened in 1986 in a former Presbyterian church from 1888 on Shaftesbury Avenue. 2003, the club has ceased operations.
