The Long Road is the fourth studio album by the Canadian band Nickelback and was published on 23 September 2003. It reached number six of the U.S. Billboard 200 charts, and thus not quite the status of its predecessor Silver Side Up.

The Long Road was the successor of Silver Side Up, but not nearly as successful. Likewise, the singles reaped less fame. Although the band showed with Someday that she is able to catch up with How You Remind Me, but the other singles were not as good by far on. See You at the show, however, was the title song of the ZDF for the European Championship 2004. Also on this album, there was Saturday Night 's Alright ( For Fighting ), one published in collaboration with Kid Rock cover version of the classic Elton John from the year 1973. The sound of the album was significantly harder than its predecessor. Because this album is not up to the usual mainstream, the great success was probably out why. This is particularly evident by Because of You and Figured You Out.
