The Marquise of O (film)

The Marquise of O is a Franco-German literary film by Éric Rohmer in 1976 after the novella by Heinrich von Kleist.

Action

The title character, the daughter of the commander, can remember after a rape by a Russian count in the face of her pregnancy is nothing. The parents are outraged and violated her daughter. The Marquise is now an advertisement to find the father of her child. Soon the Count, after which the Marquise can return home reports. Soon the wedding is arranged by the parents. When the child is born, the Count gives the newborn and the Marquise occasion of the launch of its assets.
