The Midnight Beast

Midnight Beast are a British band that became famous for their parody of Tik Tok by Kesha on the internet.

Band History

Two of the members of Midnight Beast Stefan Abingdon and Dru Wakely, had previously been active in several other bands. Abingdon example, was previously part of the band The Clik Clik. Together they made parodies of well-known pop songs that they set the video portal YouTube. For a parody of Tik Tok by the U.S. singer Kesha she teamed up with Ashley Horne. This was more active as an actor and already played in several series such as EastEnders and Dr Who with.

Tik- Tok your version with self -written nonsense text was retrieved at an exceptional success on YouTube and more than 12 million times. They even gave them a foothold in the Australian charts. For more parody videos to her YouTube Channel also usually reached over one million hits. Subsequently, they were able also to bring their music to the comedy stage. They performed at festivals such as Reading and Leeds on, were regularly seen in Alexa Chung show on MTV and produced several singles and EP Booty Call. So they made it in September 2010 in the British charts.
