However, he has confused the switch on -time controller and so the Munsters not wake up after 20 minutes but after 20 years.

Title song

For family Munster the characteristic theme song was first combined with a text: " We're the Munsters, we're the Munsters. We went to sleep twenty years ago, and we woke up with a brand new show. We're the Munsters. We're the Munsters ... today. "

Others

To this end, in 1981 the television movie was filmed Return of Frankenstein ( The Munsters ' Revenge ) family with the almost complete cast of the original series. The film was a failure and the series that was to follow him, never materialized because, inter alia, lead actor Fred Gwynne then was no longer willing to ever play the role of Herman Munster again.
  • Al Lewis was unhappy at the time that he was passed over for the cast of the series. The studio saw Howard Morton as a cheaper substitute.
